New Mills Women’s Group is a community group who meet weekly to support all women from New Mills and the surrounding areas. The group offers companionship and an opportunity to spend some child-free time working together on a variety of charitable, fundraising and community projects. Our work helps our members to build their confidence and learn new skills. The group also provides access to training and skills acquisition as well as advice on health, practical life skills and other areas. All this would not be possible without the provision of a crèche run by First Steps Nursery. New Mills Women's Group will use proceeds to fund the crèche provision, ensuring that the group can continue to provide the support and opportunities for its members.
You can find out more about the group by following them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/newmillswomensgroup. If you are interested in joining the group email them at: newmillswomensgroup@gmail.com.
